The FiiO FT1 Pro is an open-back planar magnetic headphone designed for audiophiles seeking high-fidelity sound. It features a custom-developed 95x86mm planar driver with a 1μm thin diaphragm, utilizing Sapphire and Aluminum dual-coating technology for enhanced treble resolution and overall transparency.

The patented uniform magnetic field design and 28nm-grade process technology contribute to its superior audio performance. With a 20Ω impedance and high-sensitivity design, the FT1 Pro is easily driven by various audio sources.

Top Class Planar Driver

After two years of independent research and development, FiiO created for the FT1 Pro a class-leading 1um ultra-thin diaphragm, using high-performance PET as the substrate. The difference between even a 2um and a 1um diaphragm thickness results in noticeable performance differences when the diaphragm is vibrating at high speeds, which ultimately affects sound quality.

The FT1 Pro’s 1um ultra-thin diaphragm is exceptionally lightweight, allowing it to respond with lightning-quick speed. It faithfully reproduces even subtle sounds in the ultra-high frequency range, as well as providing exceptional dynamic range.

Sapphire and Aluminum Dual Coating

The FiiO FT1 Pro features a patented dual-coating planar driver technology, combining aluminum for enhanced conductivity and dynamics with sapphire for rigidity and treble resolution. Using a high-performance PET diaphragm substrate, this design improves frequency response, audio resolution, and transparency, delivering the nuanced, dynamic sound unique to planar drivers.

Acoustic Technology

The FT1 Pro introduces FiiO’s patented uniform magnetic field design, a breakthrough in acoustic technology that optimizes uneven magnetic field intensity caused by adjacent magnets while expanding the magnetic field range. This innovation creates a more extensive, precise, and balanced magnetic field, ensuring the planar driver diaphragm is evenly stressed.

As a result, the diaphragm moves with greater consistency, reducing distortion and breakup. The outcome is a refined, highly detailed sound that captures the subtlest nuances in music—hallmarks of premium planar drivers.
